What do we mean by BUSINESS ETHICS?
BUSINESS ETHICS can be defined as written and unwritten codes of principles and values that govern decisions and actions within a company.

1. EMPLOYEE LOYALTY :- Employees are considered to be the main core of every business because ultimately they are the people who work for hours to make things happen in an organisation and achieve the targets everyday. Hence, it is necessary to recruit and select the best people for the organisation. This means the company or the organisation strives to have loyal employees for their organisation to lead there business properly. Employees loyalty is very important because its a belief that a healthy employee gives rise to a healthy organisation.
2. ETHICAL LEADERSHIP :- A good leadership is demanded everywhere but an ethical leadership is what fits the best in every organisation. An Ethical Leadership is such kind of leadership which is guided and forwarded by respect for every ethical beliefs and values in every organisation along with the dignity and rights for every people in the organisation. Therefore, an "Ethical Leadership" relates to the concepts like trust, honesty, consideration, fairness and charisma. An ethical leadership has a healthy role on the HR of an ethical business.
3. ETHICAL ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE :- As we know, that an healthy surrounding gives rise to a healthy society and healthy people. In the same way if in an organisation there is a great presence of positive vibes along with ethical culture; the nourishment of every human tends to happen. Organisation which strictly focuses upon maintaining the organisational rules, regulations and accurately follows the continuing or adapted culture , then the development of the organisation as well as the employees is sure to happen.
4. FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE :- When something or the other goes wrong in the organisation, its very important to have fair justice because it has a great impact upon the mindset of people and having strict actions towards culprit or fair decision making towards the incident. Depending upon the ethics of every organisation, in HR ethics is what proves to seek the right and also throw the right decision. Correct decision intends a feeling among employees that the organisation searches for right things and will ultimately make them loyal and honest towards their job roles.
NEGATIVES of UNETHICAL BUSINESS
1. WORKPLACE HARASSMENT :- In every organisation such type of attitude and deeds gives rise to many issues and mainly affects the people working there. Harassment is something intolerable but suppose if a superior post person harasses a subordinate then sometimes it happens that those subordinates do not raise there voice in fear of losing there job. It becomes a matter of great concern that every employee should be treated well and equally and there should be no such unethical practices. If such issues happens it creates a great negative impact towards employees and hinders the development of organisation too.
2. INCREASED STRESS AT WORK :- In an organisation, there are specific job roles assigned to every individual. Just as, if we will try to drink more and more water then required or more then we are capable of then we are surely going to vomit it out because our body cannot take that easily. in organisation as well if we try to put extra pressure or assign more work to any employee then this increases his/her stress level which makes him work inefficiently. Moreover, there comes probability that his/her health could also get affected and the company may lose it employees.
3. EXTENDED WORKING HOURS :- Every employee maximum time range to work is of eight hours. But, extended working hours could affect negatively to organisation because may be the efficiency of the employees could decrease because of over work and there could be situations they cannot take proper decisions regarding there work due to lack of rest or improper living or over work. Extended working hours could also result in affecting the employees physically as well as mentally.
4. EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION :- Favoritism and Nepotism are the two bombs which can destroy the expectations and hopes of many employees who expect for promotion. Again comes the matter of concern. Employee discrimination gives rise to unhealthy working environment and can hinder the image of organisation in minds of many employees and there are probabilities that they could also leave the organisation as there trust and hope breaks.
MARKETING
POSITIVES OF ETHICAL BUSINESS
1. MORAL IDEALISM :- Its a true fact that no matter what the outcome would be, but every time the individual rights are being protected. This factors state the consumers about safety hazards in a product or service and complaining back about a defective product, whatever the cost may be.
2. UTILITARIASM :- Based upon the outcomes and analyse about the benefits of ethical behavior. If the quality and benefits of the particular product is greater than its cost then that behavior is ethical. SAMSUNG company achieves this content by setting up cellphone charging stations in airports for passengers. This way it creates valuable service to Samsung customers and even the ones who are not.
3. CODE OF ETHICS :- A code of ethics is much more helpful for marketing because it imposes ethical principles on marketing practices. It is necessary for all marketers to follow all the laws and regulations. They are the ones who are responsible for their actions reactions and ensure that their decisions and actions satisfy there customers.
4. FEEDBACK/ REVIEWS :- Its very important for marketers to properly analyse and survey the market along with that also taking reviews and feedback from people after feeding them with products. So that if there stood any dissatisfaction then it could be sorted and not repeated.
NEGATIVES of UNETHICAL BUSINESS
1. MISLEADING :- Misguiding statements could badly hinder the image of business internally and externally. The Federal State Commissioner (FTC) expects every advertising and promoting claims to be done with proper evidences. There are also few claims which cannot be proved and that is where some marketers deliberately try to bring false statements about the claims which becomes an effective factor of unethical issues of marketing.
2. MAKING :- Making fake comparisons for the competitive products also stands as a factor of unethical issues of marketing. Lets take examples of smartphones, where competitions between each rivalry products gives rise to making of false comparisons about competitors to prove there product more efficient then there products.
3. INCITING :- Provoking people and applying unnecessary pressure stands as an another factor of unethical issues of marketing. Because of pressuring the employee might really get into mental problems and can lose its working efficiency. 4. EXPLOITING :- Exploiting people's emotions is greatly considered as unethical issues of marketing. 3. TIMELINESS : Timely updating of financial records is as important as being accurate and transparent. Managers, investors, stakeholders need all the information withing the given time so as to take the right decisions when required.
4. INTEGRITY :- A financial manager should have some integrity in him/herself which means that the customers management, shareholders and employees can trust his words and should also work as per his/her given words.
NEGATIVES of UNETHICAL BUSINESS
1. Cheating the employees of their dues towards every sectors i.e. towards medical expenses or travelling assistance or children education fees etc which highly stands as the unethical issues in finance.
2. Deliberately abnormal delays in making payments to vendors, dealers, creditors and promotion cost.
3. Delays in paying salaries to employees, interest to required Finance people, commission or bonus to employees.
4. Not prompt in statutory payments of ESI, PF, sales tax and excise duties and other kinds of taxes.
